Creole Food Festival 2025 in NYC celebrates bold flavor and unity — a joyful celebration of Creole culture, chefs, and connections from around the world.

A Celebration of Culture, Flavor, and Joy
The 2025 edition of the Creole Food Festival was the most unforgettable. It marked a historic first: the participation of the Francophone Caribbean.
From September 27 to 28, under the majestic Brooklyn Bridge, New York came alive with Creole music, color, and taste. More than 1,000 guests attended — a true sign of the world’s growing love for Creole cuisine.

A Memorable opening event
The festival began with a vibrant press conference co-hosted by @mrcommunitynyc and @gentlemens.factorygf. Media, chefs, and cultural ambassadors gathered to share stories and their pride.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement, gratitude, and anticipation.
Co-Founder Fabrice Armand spoke passionately about the festival’s mission:
“My favorite part of @creolefoodfest is our pre-press event. It’s a chance to share our story and vision. These conversations remind me that the festival belongs to everyone who believes in our culture.”
— Fabrice Armand, Co-Founder, Creole Food Festival

Sponsors such as @therogersgarden, @littlehaitibk, @chairmansreserveofficial, and @rhumclementusa made the event possible.
In addition, @jaredzwerling from @closeup360 captured the discussion and Q&A on video, preserving those powerful moments.
The Vision Behind the Festival
Founded in 2018, the Creole Food Festival began with a simple but bold idea. Its goal was to celebrate chefs of color who often work harder to gain recognition.
Over the years, partnerships with Caribbean tourism and culinary leaders inspired even greater ambition.
As a result, Fabrice Armand created a festival where culinary art meets cultural pride.
“I wanted to celebrate our food, our stories, and our people. Creole is more than a cuisine — it’s our legacy.” Fabrice Armand

Connecting Continents Through Cuisine
Since its creation, the festival has united chefs from Africa, the Caribbean, and the Americas.
Furthermore, it showcases the cultural ties that link these regions together.
