Jaden Smith joins Christian Louboutin as Men’s Creative Director, redefining luxury fashion with youth, vision, and bold creativity.
From Hollywood royalty to Parisian luxury, Jaden Smith is rewriting fashion history. The 27-year-old artist and entrepreneur has been named Christian Louboutin’s first Men’s Creative Director, a groundbreaking move that blends celebrity influence with fearless creativity.

Although many expected a traditional designer, Louboutin himself revealed that Smith was “the only candidate for the job.” The new role will see Jaden overseeing four annual men’s collections—spanning shoes, leather goods, and accessories—while shaping global campaigns, digital experiences, and immersive brand events. His first capsule collection drops in January 2026, followed by a full debut during the Men’s Fall shows.
This decision, however, challenges convention. Without formal design training, Jaden steps into a role that usually demands years of fashion experience. Yet Christian Louboutin underscores the vision behind the move:
“The real risk is to take no risk, especially in fashion. If you take no risk, you dilute the message. If there is risk, there is excitement about that risk. So, I would say that it’s a good risk, and it’s totally worth it.”

Strategically, the men’s category represents about 24 percent of the brand’s business but has slowed in recent years. By naming Jaden—a musician, activist, and social-media powerhouse with nearly 20 million followers—Louboutin hopes to re-energize the line and connect with a younger, more global audience.
Jaden’s appointment also reflects the industry’s growing embrace of diversity and new voices. Like Pharrell Williams at Louis Vuitton, his influence extends far beyond fashion. He brings with him a message of sustainability, individuality, and creative freedom.
